We can also do a full-scope of pediatric dentistry including tongue tie release procedures and sleep apnea treatments for children who may be suffering from poor sleep and/or mouth breathing.

Here’s what GBT certification means:

Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is a systematic approach to professional dental cleanings (prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance) that focuses on removing dental biofilm (plaque) in a minimally invasive, comfortable, and highly effective way.

Our practice is proud to be GBT-certified, meaning we offer Guided Biofilm Therapy — the latest in comfortable, non-invasive dental cleanings using EMS AIRFLOW® technology. It’s safe for all ages and ideal for patients with implants, braces, or gum sensitivity.

🔹 What GBT involves:

  • Disclosing agents: First, a special dye is applied to highlight biofilm on teeth and gums.

  • AIRFLOW®: A gentle, warm stream of air, water, and erythritol (or glycine) powder is used to remove biofilm, stains, and early calculus from teeth, soft tissues, orthodontics, and implants.

  • PERIOFLOW® & PIEZON®: These tools are used to gently remove deeper deposits with minimal damage to enamel or soft tissue.
